Construction Foreman (40 hours per week)

What are you going to do?
As a Site Supervisor, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations at the project site and for ensuring that the project stays on schedule. You serve as the eyes and ears on site and coordinate the daily execution of all work activities in accordance with the schedule, the required quality standards, and safety requirements. When necessary, you act as a hands-on foreman on the projects.
On the project, you serve as the point of contact for the client. You document the progress of the project through photos and written reports and ensure that time logs and daily logs are properly maintained. You record any irregularities and escalate (quality) issues to the Project Manager and, where necessary, to the Head of Operations. You will evaluate and discuss additional work with the client and the Project Manager on an interim basis, attend the pre-inspection and final handover, and ensure that all handover issues are resolved within the specified timeframe.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
You are a proactive, resilient, and results-oriented colleague who feels a strong sense of commitment to the organization and our clients. Thanks to your decisive approach, you are able to keep both the client and the project team engaged in the project’s progress. In addition, you have:
- A construction program at the MBO-4 level
- Class B/E driver's license and a valid VCA certificate
- Several years of work experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
- An energetic, creative, and quality-oriented work ethic
- Humor!
