Technical Draftsman (40 hours per week)
Are you technically skilled, do you have an eye for detail, and do you know how to translate creative designs into accurate working drawings? Do you thrive on precision work, and are you familiar with interior design or architectural drafting software? Then the role of Technical Draftsman at E=MC² is perfect for you!
What are you going to do?
As a Technical Draftsman at E=MC², you will work on a wide range of interior design projects for offices, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, and other commercial interiors. You will translate the design into technical drawings that are feasible, clear, and ready for construction. You will ensure the design is technically sound, verify dimensions, and consult with project managers, work planners, and suppliers. You will work with AutoCAD (or similar software) and provide drawings for both the construction site and production partners.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
You work with precision, have a solution-oriented mindset, and collaborate easily with people from different disciplines. You’re a team player with technical insight and a flair for design. You also have:
- A completed associate's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a technical draftsman in the interior design or construction industry
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD
- You have knowledge of and an understanding of various building materials
- An independent work ethic and strong communication skills
- A practical approach and an eye for detail
