Strategic Buyer (40 hours per week)
Are you a business professional with exceptional negotiation skills? Do you have experience in project-based procurement and always spot opportunities for better deals, smarter processes, and sustainable relationships? If so, you might just be the Strategic Procurement Specialist we’re looking for at E=MC².
What are you going to do?
As a Strategic Buyer, you are responsible for the entire procurement process within our interior design and construction projects. You negotiate with suppliers, secure favorable contracts, and proactively contribute ideas regarding procurement strategies. You analyze prices, terms, and delivery reliability, and ensure that everything is in order—from quality to margin.
You will work closely with work planners and project managers, and serve as the commercial voice within the implementation team.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
You are commercially driven, a strong communicator, and confident when it comes to negotiating. You also have:
- A completed associate's or bachelor's degree (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics)
- A completed NEVI program
- Proven experience in procurement within a project-based or technical environment
- Strong negotiation skills and a good sense of proportion
- Experience with supplier management and ERP systems (such as Bouw7 is a plus)
- A structured and results-oriented approach to work
- Persuasiveness, courage, and a strong sense of business acumen
