SENIOR ESTIMATOR (40 hours per week)
Are you an experienced estimator who understands numbers and has hands-on experience? Do you have several years of experience in (interior) construction projects, work independently, and produce estimates that are accurate down to the last decimal point? Then we’re looking for you—a Senior Estimator who knows what they’re doing and makes a difference in the preparation of our turnkey projects.
What are you going to do?
As a Senior Estimator at E=MC², you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, comprehensive, and realistic cost estimates. You’ll review drawings, request quotes, prepare estimates, and anticipate potential scenarios. You’ll identify risks, spot opportunities, and ensure that all figures are thoroughly substantiated—before the first pile is driven into the ground.
You work independently and consult with project managers, drafters, and work planners. Thanks to your accurate cost estimates, our construction teams can plan and build efficiently.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
We’re not looking for someone just starting out. You’re a professional who knows how things work—and where the pitfalls lie. You bring experience, insight, and expertise to the table. Specifically:
- At least 5 years of experience as a cost estimator in project design, (interior) construction, or finishing work
- College or university level of work and thinking, preferably in architecture or a related field
- Experience with commercial projects or business interiors
- You have a perfect command of both cost estimation software and Excel
- You have an eye for cost optimization and practical feasibility
- You work independently, think proactively, and communicate clearly
- Knowledge of Bouw7 or similar systems is a plus
